Yeah, it's based on the name of my 'first' meta comic issue called United Comics and the possible name of my 'company' called UP Comics (metafictionally originally United Periodicals.)

I just finished my drawing of my version of your Open Source PD character, Thunderclap, the Shazam/ Captain Marvel homage( who for my version of him, I'll be calling ''Captain Thunderclap'') and I'll be putting it up soon( along with the drawings that I did of Champion and Lady Champion).


As you created the character, I'm eager to get your opinion and feedback on Captain Thunderclap once I put the drawing up! I'm actually a little worried that the way I drew him, he looks a little too much like Erik Larsen's Mighty Man from The Savage Dragon comics but again, I'd like to know what you think about my version of Thunderclap( once the drawing goes up).
